Tuscon

For October Break, the kids and I went with my parents, Grandma Freeman, and Uncle John's family down to Tuscon. There's a timeshare there that they hadn't ever stayed at, so we tried it out.

While we were there we went to the:

Air and Space Museum-
We saw some cool, HUGE planes.

Spend some time at the Park:

Brooklyn played catch with Grandma Great at the condo :)

We took a trip down to the Mormon Battalion:

and ate at El Charro after:

Afterwards we had to make a stop at this bridge we'd heard about.
One end is a snake's head (see the eyes and fangs???)
and then when you walk through to the other end, the tail rattles. Cool huh?!

Wildlife Museum:
Lastly, we made a trip to the Wildlife Museum and saw some cool animals, and did lots of exploring.

snakes!

The bat cave and wearing these cool bat ears, where you could hear super well.

Saw all these colorful mineral rocks that really impressed me with their bright hues.

Excavating bones

Brooklyn enjoys our weekly trips to Kid's Club, and their mascot Dewper is a giant prairie dog, so when she saw these real life prairie dogs, she called them "baby Dewpers" and got so excited :)

Grandpa found a tarantula walking on the sidewalk in the aviary, and picked him up.

Probably my favorite were these garden eels. I thought they were so cool how they would go up and down at the same time, wiggling in the water, and always facing the same way.

We each got to find and keep our own mineral rocks.

Even the hummingbird area was so cool!
We had a great time.
