Easter

We dyed some eggs,
went to the Easter Pageant
(before it started the boys were watching a movie with Beck and Rett, and look how cute that they're all in Angry Birds jammies, ha ha. Not even planned )
CJ turned into a bunny :)
they had to hunt to find their baskets this year. I saw this idea and thought it looked fun.

Except it wasn't fun for a sick little girl :(
The boys and I went to the Roberts' annual hunt, and although they didn't find any of the gold, silver or bronze eggs, they did have a fun time.

I couldn't resist taking a picture with Brooklyn and our real life Easter Bunny :)
Plus an egg hunt at Grandma's
(When will she learn to smile AND keep her eyes open???)

Casey used the tree swing and surprisingly didn't break it!

We also did something new this year that I copied from a blog to focus on the real meaning of Easter.
Each day we put up a sheet with a scripture of what was happening on that day in Jesus' time. Plus I had the boys draw a picture so they could kinda visualize it. I thought it turned out neat and they would remember details days later when I asked them. Then we added a puzzle from the Friend magazine to tie it up :)

Easter Field Trip

CJ took at least 6 field trips this year with Preschool, but his most favorite by far, was his last one to Peter Piper Pizza.

They toured the kitchen and saw where they make the dough,
and the huge fridge,
plus got to make their own pizzas.
(CJ used his pepperonis to write his name so he'd know which one was his, can you tell??)
plus they got some tokens.

And then look who came??? The Easter Bunny!!!

Brooklyn loved her, ha ha.

Falcon Field

My mom went with the kids and I to the Falcon Field Open House.

The boys loved seeing all the cool cars and wanted their pictures taken next to All. Of. Them. :)

Not to mention Trains,
Helicopters,
Sparky from the Fire Department,
Plus ran into Grandpa's friend Dave.

They even loved this cool 3 wheeled motorcycle that parked by us.

Spring Break-Oceanside

My parents were so nice to take us to Oceanside with them for Spring Break.

It was a bit colder than I imagined, super cloudy and foggy, but still fun.

Our place was about as close as you could get to being on the Pier, with Ruby's at the end of it.

Then one day, it was so cool, there was a guy on the pier who had sticks and a huge string, and was making these gigantic bubbles. Oh man, we had so much fun popping those things.

Luckily Grandpa was there to lift Brooklyn up so she could pop a few that her brothers couldn't reach :)

Payton was cracking me up on our mile walk, he kept picking up "treasures" and wouldn't let them go. Looked like trash to me, but he sure wanted them...

We went to find some tide-pools, and although we didn't find too many creatures, Payton found his name already written in sand as we were walking up :)

Brooklyn was sick and didn't sleep well at the beginning of the trip, but we had a great time!!
