June pics and Solana Beach

June meant:

Our shower is almost done! Casey's tile job is finished, and we had a door installed.
Now fast forward to August and we actually have a shower head and can use it! :)

Brooklyn had a classic child "color-on-yourself" moment

And on the toilet lid, while she was at it. Lucky for me it was highlighter and wiped right off.

Brooklyn rocking Spiderman to sleep and putting him down for a nap
(Her brothers think she's crazy. "Spiderman doesn't take naps!!)

Solana Beach
So much fun as always!

We did an adult dinner which was so nice. Plus Casey pulled out a face-switching app and did it for each couple, which was hilarious and resulted in many a laughing tears.

Andy organized an ultimate Frisbee game at a park.

Brooklyn still loves to hold Mabry :)

Cousin dance party (of course by the time I break out my camera, most of them seemed to disappear)
Another morning Lance made a donut run for all of us which was awesome as well.

This was the first year that a berm was made (which means we can actually be at the beach during high tide!) It was pretty hot sand though, since it never got cooled down by the ocean. I found the kids sitting there on several occasions and they kept calling it the "hot tub." It's fitting because kids under 5 years old can't go in the condo hot tub, so they made their own :)

Where'd CJ go?
There he is!!!

 So fun! We love California!!

June in Colorado!

We had so much fun returning to Colorado!!!
We loved getting to see our friends
and the kids had a blast!

Payton, Madilynn, CJ, Bently, Brooklyn (Sami was napping)
Their house is awesome, and such a fun place to be at.

Plus we had to make a stop by our old trailer :)
We were told that we needed to paint our trailer, so we did, even though it looked fine to us. Driving through the park and we see one like this (below) seriously???

Tara made such an awesome cake for Payton. Race track #7 with Cars cars on it! So cool!! They even threw him a birthday party an invited some of our friends. How nice is that?!?! They're keepers I tell ya ;)

We got to meet their cow, Molly and take her for a walk.
(Which turns out we shouldn't have because she had an injury, oops.)

Our Best Friends/Neighbors the Rockwoods came. It was so fun to see them!
(Not sure who that little stray girl on the left was, who snuck into our picture, ha ha)

We had to make a trip to Pump it Up, like old times, but it was closed!! So luckily there was one in Loveland we could go to. Plus it was awesome because they had tables right in there where we could eat dinner while the kids played.

Brooklyn still talks about her buddy, Sami, who's 4 months older than her.

Elitch's:
We did an amusement park while visiting there, since we never had before.
Apparently it was like Junior High Field Trip Day (even though school was out, weird) and so there were SOOOO many teenagers there, which was kinda crazy. But we still had fun!

Poor Brooklyn was so sad to be left off of several rides. Sami got to go because it's crazy how much taller she is than Brook.

We had a great trip!!
