Reading this book at the library and brooklyn asks, "what is that girl going to do to the dog on the bike? Tackle him?" Ha ha :) She must have brothers...
Ocho de Mayo
We couldn't have our party on the 5th, so we had it a few days later, complete with Mexican food, a piñata and mustaches!
Mabry was NOT a fan of hers, ha ha.
Payt's Play:
The 2nd graders had been working for weeks on memorizing songs, dance moves, and lines for their "Going Buggy" play.
It was cute to see all their hard work pay off.
Mitchell and Payton
Mother's Day:
I got this cute drawing from Brooklyn.
One of my favorite things about Mother's Day is when our ward does this cute program of what the kids said about their moms.
Payton's were: My Mom always says..."hi"
and My mom likes to eat..."candy"
I'll admit, he's pretty accurate on that last one :)
CJ's cracked me up though.
What does your mom cook the best? "Dirt and worms."
What the heck??? ha ha I think the week before had been April Fool's and we did dirt and worms for dessert. Apparently it was his favorite, so that's what I cook the best.
His other comment was:
My mom can do many things. She is really good at... "Driving the car. She never crashes."
ha ha. Glad I've impressed him with my driving skills.
Silly boy.
Payton's class invited the mom's for a luncheon and it was really nice. They had cute tables set up, flowers, cards, treats, etc. So fun.
Casey got some flowers for his mom, and how cool that after she got home, she drew a picture of them and sent it to us. Love her talent!
