August

Here's our snapshot of August:

Brooklyn loving being back at Kid's Club again.

(and it looks like she's flipping me off, ha ha, although I think she was showing me a bug on her finger)

Brooklyn got invited to Maryn's birthday tea party, and got all dressed up.

Cute to have this 1 little gentleman among the 7 little ladies.

Way to go Calvie! :)

CJ started half day kindergarten at Montessori House on August 1st.

 

We had one of these lanterns and finally let it go. Fun too cause Casey comes out playing the "Tangled" lantern song. Perfect. 

 

 

It was actually pretty terrifying, thinking that at one point it'd hit our house and light it on fire, or drop on someone else's house and start a fire. Aahh!

 

Payton started 2nd grade Aug 7th

First day of school with the cousins, Julie and Caitlyn

Julia's first year at Hermosa Vista, also in 2nd grade. Different class than Payton though.

 

Angela threw Peter a surprise birthday party at our house.

It was really fun, and I think he was genuinely surprised.

Weird note to end on, but the boys and I were cracking up when we saw what this poor doll had on her face, thanks to Brooklyn. Chapstick smeared all over her eyes, nose, mouth, and then the entire chunk, sticking out of her forehead, ha ha.
